R. Michael Wimmer
Born in Miami Beach, Florida in 1958 Michael has received numerous Best of Show and 1st Place awards on the national art show circuit. In 2006 he received the Kessler award presented by the Kessler Foundation. In 2007 he will be the poster artist for the 4 Bridges Arts Festival in Chattanooga, TN. His most recent accomplishment was having two sculptures purchased by the Tennessee State Museum for their Permanent collection. Without formal training Michael has accomplished national recognition through hard work and hands on experience.
